Why Write this Blog?
by Ongai

As mentioned in the What’s WATS page, Ken and Ongai wanted more meaning in their lives and focusing on locally and ethically produced goods and making it into an entrepreneurial project was the way to go. But this was not just any other project or business, we wanted to know who the makers of the products were, where it was made, and if they were treated right and lots more. In short, they wanted to know the story behind the people and the products. Thus, having to question “What About The Storey?” in every product.

So here we are, looking for great communities that are talented but haven’t had the tools to be recognized worldwide (sadly, sometimes even locally). We want to help these communities succeed and we’re hoping that these people get to share their products with you and we get to be the bridge that connects them with you. The company promises to make sure that these products that will be shared with you will be something that you will love and that the stories of these communities is something that we are excited to share with you. After all, in the WhatAboutTheStorey community, it’s all about the “stuff you love buying, stories we love telling.”

As the blog grows, you will get to know more about the communities that we help and interact with. Besides the products, we are also very excited to share with you more about the products through articles, teachings and more fun stuff for everyone to have a better appreciation of the products and their communities. Let us say our first product is a yoga and exercise mat bag then we would like to share with you fun facts about yoga.

So join our community, subscribe to us and learn more about our products but let us not forget that in whatever we buy let us ask “WhatAboutTheStorey?”

Welcome…
